CD20 – The Pendulum of Responsibility & Projects with Purpose

Here we go, podcast day!

On this lunchtime podcast recording, I go over the recent surprises that responsibility throws at you, Lucky for us, that work/life pendulum swings just right for us to make the push for creativity. There is time to be fulfilled, there is time for art.

This status report is an overview of what I’m up to, and how I intend to use my upcoming short-form projects to provide avenues for creative collaboration in my community. A bunch of theories on the verge of practical application. Come along!

Much love,

OKA30 – Ocean’s Eleven, Uplifting News Recap, Concert Plans

Hi all!

Here’s a weekday talk about all kinds of stuff:

How about a throwback to the early 2000s chatting about Steven Soderbergh’s superior remake of Ocean’s Eleven. We spoil the hell out of this one, so if you haven’t seen a 20+ year old film, we apologize.

We bring back the uplifting news headline and bring you some well needed joy around these parts!

And raving about a new concert opportunity, can’t wait! Thanks for joining us as we continue our experiment!

Much love,

J&M

OKA29 – The Little Mermaid, Politickin’, This Darn Halloween Candy

Hey folks,

We begin a celebration of Disney’s The Little Mermaid with a slight prologue about Bullet Journaling.

This joyful profane segment was followed by a rant disguised as a discussion on impeachment (Also #yanggang shoutout). Because we hadn’t talked about it in a while.

Also, a shoutout to Halloween and candy coma.

Have a great week, friends.

CD15 – My Nightmare Came True: Mah Cat Barfed Everything.

My cats seriously brought on the banter today, throwing up and tumbling over chairs as I tried to discuss how we can get an outline done if we only overcome fear. This is what I get for recording at lunch time. Hope you had a Happy Halloween!!!

OKA28 – Stephen King’s The Institute, This Ukraine Debacle, The Nightmare Before Xmas! (Movie Blurb)

Check out the Podcasts page to subscribe on your preferred listening platform!

Hi folks!

Just in the nick of time, we got our podcast episode in! Very proud of ourselves, much wow:

Madd could not wait to share some thoughts on Stephen King’s latest, The Institute. She read it like a mad person in record time so let’s hear some critical and emotional reactions!

Just when we thought it couldn’t get more obvious, this Ukraine business gets blown wide open by Bill Taylor’s statement to Congress. Will the Democrats continue to twiddle their thumbs or impeach? Let’s rage together!

Lastly, we wanted to spend a few minutes praising and sharing our love for the one and only holiday classic The Nightmare Before Christmas. Now it’s a family tradition our kid can enjoy with us!

Also, we tried watching the new Star Wars trailer but we refuse to go to Disney jail, so instead of playing it in the background, you will hear us reacting to dead silence. It was wonderful.

Be well, friends.

OKA27 – Casper Spotlight, The Omen Blurb, Uplifting News, Finally!

Wow, hi folks!

Happy to be back as we celebrated Madd’s birthday this weekend!

In honor of the little adventures we had this weekend, we thought to keep things slightly local and chat about Casper and some of the cool things to do this weekend. Casper ain’t so bad! Also, we are in no way, shape or form affiliated with the City of Casper nor its marketing entities. What the hell, can’t I just say something nice about Casper?

Since it’s spooky scary October, we’re doing blurbs and quick shoutouts to our favorite spooky scary films. This time around we babble on and rejoice in the 70s joy of Richard Donner’s The Omen. Catholic guilt, here we go again!

Lastly, a breakthrough! Madd and I find a new way to cover the news! Give it a listen!

Hope you’re well,

J&M

OKA 26 – Tom Segura Show, Headlines Recap, Kubrick vs King (The Shining Blurb)

And the episode where Oscar toppled my keyboard, because he’s an indifferent cat.

Hi there, Here’s what we have going on in this episode:

Tom Segura: We had the pleasure of watching the water champ/comedian Tommy Bunz at the Buell in Denver and we laughed, cried, and cringed.

We looked at top news headlines on Reddit over the last seven days. …Why are we like this?

We’re doing some blurbs on a few of our favorite spooky scary movies and books, enjoy a little shoutout to Kubrick vs King as they battled over The Shining.

Much love,

J&M
